CIRP DESIGN 2025 Conference Scope
The 35th CIRP DESIGN 2025 Conference will be organized in Patras, at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras (02-04 April 2025).
- Manufacturing systems are undergoing a rapid and deep transformation as a result of rapidly changing economic, social, and environmental factors
- Adopting novel value chain structures, new organizational and production paradigms, as well as innovative digital and automation technologies, is critical to leading such a transformation
- The current market scheme is driven by the need for improved quality, increased product quantities and lower delivery times. Moreover, customers seek for highly personalized products.
- Customers should be actively involved in the product design phase
- Automation and smart systems revolutionize the factory shop-floor, and horizontal and vertical integration via digital means are key features for sustainability
